Comic book promoting Scouting from 1974
50 Years of Scouting in East Cobb
A lot has changed in 50 years. In 1974, Scouts were playing with Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots and begging their parents for the Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle. They may have seen "Herbie Rides Again" in the movie theatre on a Friday after coming home from East Side Elementary School.
Some things that haven't changed are the values and skills that Scouting teaches. For 50 years, Pack 744 has been instilling these values in local Scouts and encouraging them to make the community a better place. Help us celebrate the founding of our Pack, and join us in exploring what many more years of Scouting will bring.
